Suicide is the leading cause of death for young people in WA. 1 in 3 deaths of young people is from suicide. An estimated 41,000 Australian teens attempt suicide each year.

1 in 12 teens say they self-harmed in the past year.

1 in 5 teens say they experience high levels of psychological distress.

Bullying and cyberbullying have worsened in recent years with increased use of technology.

We need new knowledge to develop the strategies and solutions to address this growing crisis.
